a 2hr workshop for pregnant parents who are planning a
vaginal birth after caesarean
(VBAC)
You will learn how to maximise your chances of having a VBAC in our maternity care system by

Breaking down the “risks” & looking at what the evidence says

Tips for planning a positive birth – whichever way it turns out

(includes pregnant participant & 1 support person)

Student midwives participating in continuity of care experiences are welcome to attend with you, free of charge.

Price is the same for in-person & online classes as the content, offerings & inclusions are identical between both offerings.

Our Refund Policy
Due to our small group sizes & high demand, payment is required in full at time of booking & is non-refundable in the event of change of mind, other engagements, forgetting to attend or illness.
Full refunds will only be given for unexpected early births (provided you are less than 36 weeks pregnant at the start of the course).
If you wish to move your booking to another course date, please get in touch at least 7 days before the start of your booked course (space permitting).

In the rare instance that we need to cancel the class (presenter illness, minimum booking numbers not reached etc), we will contact you 3-5 business days prior to the class. We will aim to facilitate you joining another class, or offer a full refund if this is not possible.

Planning a VBAC package
VBAC Circle (2 hours)
This circle is held once every two months in Kensington, Victoria and is led by an experienced midwife. This circle will give you the opportunity to hear other people’s experiences and meet other people planning the same.
VBAC Workshop (2 hours)
This workshop is held every month. It teaches you how to plan a VBAC, understanding the VBAC statistics (focusing on specific states Victoria & Queensland), breaking down the “risks”, tips for planning a positive birth – whichever way it turns out. Held live online via Zoom.
1:1 Birth Debrief with an experienced midwife (1.5 hours)
You can bring in your medical notes from your previous birth (sometimes comprehensive notes need to be requested in advance from the care provider), or your own written notes, or simply yourself. This session is led by you.
